I remember reading a thread where mike stated that all Meguiar's car washes are pH-balanced. How come people say that NXT wash is better for hard water, when all of the car washes are pH-balanced?

nxt wash has better cleaning abilities, but the gc has more conditioners and leaves a slicker finish.

I used the Deep Crystal three step system on my car as suggested by a friend I have a navy blue MG. I then purchased the Deep Crystal car wash liquid. Now comparing all of your car wash products, did I do the right thing? I just finished Meguiar's Rx Plus questionare and it didn't even mention the Deep Crystal system. Did I start off with the wrong products?

The deep crystal system is a great paint care system. Easy to use, easy to find it does a great job. If you like the look it gives use it! If you want to try something else next time you could substitute a step say something like: Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner + Deep Crystal Polish + NXT Generation Wax.

I will say this... when you run out of Deep Crystal Wash pick some Gold Class Shampoo up. The Deep Crystal Wash is a great product but if you are willing to spend a little more the Gold Class is a very good wash! I prefer GC over Deep Crystal and NXT Wash.
