  • Scratches from high preassure washer lance

Some stupid shop were demonstrating Kärcher products and gave away free wash demonstrations. Stupid as i was i didnt check the whole car afterwards and now ive found out they have managed to scratch the car in two places besides the gas lid. Two 1,5 inch long and about 0,2 inches wide scratches consisting of smaller scratches most likely from the tip of the lance. At first i didnt see it becaus it was covered with plastic most likely from the tip also.

The car is a 03 Honda Civic Type-R nighthawk black (same as the acura rsx black color).

I want the paint to be as good as new again, the scratches consists of minor scratches so the paint isnt totaly destoryed.

I dont have much experience into car detailing so im wondering what i can do to fix this, if its something i can do or that i should get someone else to do and what tools, products i need for the job.

Thanks in advance (i know i can search trough the forum but i want to be absolutly sure before i start and dont just try something others have done without thinking).

The best product would be ScratchX applied with a terry cloth. Browse the 'How to' section fo the forum for "How to Remove Scratches with Scratch-X.
