  • New Car Exterior Carr

Hello, New member and first post here!

I just purchased a new vehicle and I have some decision paralysis with caring for the exterior. I’m curious about what the best course of action is to care for it since it is brand new, especially waxing.

The car was waxed by the dealership - Do I need to remove that existing wax before applying a new coat later on?

I like the idea of a ceramic coating, especially since I live in New York with harsh road salts during the winter. Can I apply the Ultimate Wax first and then apply the Hybrid Ceramic Wax over it?

I’m considering the Hybrid Ceramic liquid wax because it can be applied to exterior trim as well.

Any advice on where to start is greatly appreciated!

    Welcome!!!
My thoughts, if ypur using Megs Ceramic line, I would just stay with that line. Throw a base coat of Hybrid Ceramic Liquid wax on and maintain with the family, Hybrid Spray wax, Detailer, and Soap. I think you will be happy. And I myself really like the Ceramic Liquid wax on trim, it works fine for my needs.
