  • Haze from D300: UP, 205, or MF Polish?

I've begun correcting my paint with D300 Correction Compound paired with a microfiber cutting pad, and am producing haze from it. No surprise and no biggie either.

In the past, I followed it up with Ultimate Polish, primarily because of the oils, and it complimenting my paint. This time around I want to correct the haze and further refine the imperfections in my paint so that I may proceed with ceramic coating. UP has cut, whereas D302 Microfiber Polish doesn't have the same cut.

Being that I'm wanting to further correct the paint and remove the haze from D300, what would one recommend?

D302 contains no abrasives. The pad is doing all the work. You could use UP, M205 or M210.

I appreciate the assistance. Fortunately I was able to attend Meguiar's Thursday Night Open Garage and was able to resolve the issue at hand. In my instance, I used a Rupes Mark III with M100 on a microfiber cutting pad followed by M210 on a yellow pad and it was just the right combination to give me the result I desired.
