  • Degreaser shelf life?

Hi all. I find it efficient if for example I prepare a ready mixed gallon of Meg's degreaser (be it 4:1 or 10:1). I reckon these ready mixed gallons will last me about 2-3 weeks. Is it ok to do so? Or will the degreaser lose some of its effectiveness?

The chemical composition shouldn't change in that period of time. However, you sould probably mix it with distilled water as ordinary tap water may have flouride and possibly chlorine. Don't have a clue what that might do to the effectiveness of degreaser in time.

If you just dillute it with distilled water to whatever ration you choose, it should stay that ratio until you use it.

It should be fine. Just give the bottle a swirl or two before using.
