  • Old Paint Blobs

So, a co-worker of mine sees my clean and shining car, before it rained at least, and was commenting how his had some road paint on it that he wished could be removed.

Well, turns out it is bright yellow road paint, from maybe 3 years ago, in big blobs. Like little rock hard mounds of paint. I couldnt even pick one off with a fingernail. (I know, but trust me, any fingernail scratch is the least of the cars problems). Anywho.. short of sandpaper, does anyone have any guesses on what could be done for paint that old?

    Hi Murr,

I found this after doing a search....

There was another thread started about this kind of problem....I think I saw it last year sometime, but I can't find the proper search words to locate it.

Anyway, the road paint was removed with something called Goo Gone?......Not sure though, just guessing.
