  • Stripping LSP before Polish

This weekend I plan to do a full detail on my car. I plan on doing a wash, clay, wash, polish, LSP. I currently have the Meguiar's sealant on there now. Should I remove this before I do the polishing? I have heard if you don't remove the LSP, removing the polish residue is difficult. What can I use if I need to remove it? Do I need to wash the car after the polishing before the LSP at the end? Thanks.

    Just polish as normal.

    What are you starting with?

Mike, I'll be starting with the #83 and going over again with the #80. So, you think it is fine to just leave the sealant on there and go straight to polishing after the washing and claying?

#80 and #83 are both cleaner polishes. Between the clay and the cleaners in #83, all wax will be quickly gone.
