  • Spoke Brush Problems

I have had my spoke brush for about 4 months now, and though it works great, I have had problems with it staying together. First, the wire came unglued from the base. I called customer service about it and they sent me a replacement which was great. I decided to try and glue my brush back together, and no matter what strength glue I use, it does not stay together. Oh well, I was over that because of how well it was working, but now, all my bristles are falling off. I use the brush gently, but every wheel I wash causes the brush to drop about 10 bristles out. My wheels are not even that tight, but rather wider spaced, so it is not like I am jamming the brush in there. I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem, or have I just expended the life of the brush? Thanks, Lindsey

      Hello all,

Mike has the answer in his PM box if it's available in the US, the item is certainly Made in the USA

Actually here is a picture for you: -

I have tried many many brushes over the years and now use this and I will never change

It is not a Meguiar's brush nor is it from the competition either, it's actually an industrial brush used with a solvent cleaning bath to remove grease, oil etc from bearings, housings, gears, sprockets etc etc.

It is VERY robust and is ALL plastic in construction it is exceptional (IMHO) for cleaning wheels even multispoke wheels.

You can also fit a hose to the end as it is hollow so as to allow the water to flow down the centre of the brush.

It's the pefect piece of kit when cleaning wheels and WILL NOT fall to bits nor will it damage alloy wheels, that's impossible with this brush

Well, I've had my brush since July and it's been fine. I actually went and bought a new one the other day because my sister came over and "borrowed" some of my stuff to wash her car and left grease on my brush...so now instead of it being yellow, it's black too...and all the bristles are messed up.

        Sigh.
