polishing glass

I have heard some were that you could use a orbital buffer on glass with rubbing compound , but my question is, 1: what type of compound, like would swirl remover work or would i need a special glass compound? 2. if i cant use the buffer that what works well fo polishing glass?

I think you want #4 heavy cut compound.

Make sure some other people reply before you get #4 and begin. I would hate to be wrong.

thank alot, the 1 thing i hate is dirty and unsmooth glass...........
