If one were going to lay down a #7 coat followed by 2 coats of NXT, would they be better off to use the polishing pad for the NXT coats? From what I've read the finihsing pad might get a little clogged with the NXT wax.. Thing is, will the polishing pad remove the #7 with it's light abrasiveness?

I have never had a clogging problem with NXT and the W-9006 pad yet...This combo should not remove #7, except for any excess left over.
I was just a bit concerned about the polishing pad scrubbing off the #7. After a problem I was having (separate post on here) I was wondering if I needed to stay away from the finishing pad, but I will give it a try.
