Tar and plastic mouldings

I was curious what would be a good product to use to get tar off of the plastic non painted mouldings. I did a search, but seems like all I could find was information about removing tar from paint, so I have planty of ideas about what to do to painted surfaces. I couldn't sem to find if Meguiars Bug and Tar remover was safe to use on non painted trim, or it is thier and I didn't see it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't be afraid to try a little WD-40 on those areas.
