Hello I recently purchased a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Today I clayed the paint and used scratchx. Some of the deeper scratches and swirl marks did not come out. I dont own any power equipment and am stuck doing all of this by hand. What if anything can I do? Hoping to polish and wax next weekend if I can get rid of these problem areas.

Here is a great link from Mike Phillips on removing scratches by hand:

Not sure what your other products are in your collection but here are some of my favorites:

I have had good luck with Deep Crystal #2 (polish) by hand I prefer the look of #81 Hand Polish (I use a PC to apply) but it is a HAND polish. Both are great products!

Darker colored vehicles, NXT Tech wax all the way!

Followed the directions on the scratchx thread and wow what a difference you can actually tell when it is almost done. Then all i did was rub for a lil bit longer let stand and wipe wow.
Now to finish the rest of those pesky areas where do i look for info on polishes and which is better and the best way to apply
