Just takin' a somewhat educated (thanks MOL!) guess here but I would think it would make it VERY hard to remove......causing streaking and smearing also.

removed it with NO problems or streaks
looks great
Wow....that goes against everything I've read...did you use the liquid or paste ?

Meguiar's recommends that you apply/remove the NXT on a cool surface while being in the shade. So while you (myself included) have had success using it in the sun, it does create more opportunity for streaking and smearing when applied in the hot sun.
I used the liquid and it was on a maroon Jeep....waxed the whole thing in the direct sun.... only side effect I noticed was removing the sweat and smudges produced by the direct sun on ME....
NTX did not care came right off no streaks
I applied the old formula of NXT on warm paint one time and it was a pain. Not in the sun but after the car sat in the sun for a while then moved to shade. The NXT dried instantly, not allowing me to really work it in. I couldn't get a thin layer and removal was a pain. The end result just had minor staking on the hood but QD removed it easily. It didn't seem to effect the shine or durability of the wax. Beaded real nice and lasted a while. That was the only, and last time I ever did that. I make sure the paint is cool before I apply anything to it.
what will happen if I apply NTX in the sun or to a hot surface?
will I do damage?
Thanx
Rob
I think the biggest issue you could face is that the product may not be giving you full protection on account of premature breakdown and not adhering to the surface the way it should (I'm guessing).
