  • Velcro coming off pad

    The velcro is coming off the pad. Is there a glue that can be used on pad's.

    loctite?? they make amazing glue!! how did the pad come off? i don't think you are supposed to wash them... i would use loctite or buy a new pad

      If they are Meguiars pads, call customer service and see about getting a replacement, the velcro shouldn't seperate unless you ran your buffer too fast like a PC at #6 or a rotary at high speed. You can run the buffers faster if you know what you are doing but I don't use velcro pads for that.

        Here is an old post:

        If there is anyone still looking for a way to re-attach their velcro backing pads to the 6.5" foam pads here is what I did.... I purchased some "Aleene's ORIGINAL Tacky Glue" and glued the velcro back on the foam, leaving it sit overnight with a phonebook on it. I have only used it once sice I fixed it but it has


        I used the glue in the post and it worked quite well.

        I have always thought with all things glued, no mater the product with frequent use it will wear.

          The pad's are hand washed in a bucket of water. When I tried to get the pad off the PC the velcro was coming off.
