After washing ,using DCPC and 2x #16,with my G100, i came to the conclusion that i prefer paste over liquid, first there is no over saturation on the 8006 pad, which might also give you more product or coats from the container.Second the paste will not fling product,if you lift it off the surface accidently,Thirdlyi felt that my coats of wax were thinner on the car body, and spread around better, then what i have encountered, when useing liquid,i dont know if others agree with my findings, but thought id pass them along,oh i did love the smell and feel of DCPC,go figure.

Their both great cleaners IMO.
Maybe 2Hotford, or Aurora can help you with with the #16/NXT comparison.r. b.

I've never tried NXT Paste Wax, but I also love pastes! They are easier to apply in my opinion, though sometimes slightly harder to buff off. But I do all my waxing by hand, and using a paste just feels right.
There are times I prefer a liquid, though. Like for sheer speed of waxing, liquid is tough to beat. And for waxing less well-maintained areas, like doorjambs or whatnot, or just tossing a quick coat on a beater. I worry about contaminating a paste wax and making the whole jar unuseable. Liquids don't have this problem as everything flows out, never into the bottle. The bottle doesn't even have to touch the pad.
For liquid NXT vs #16, NXT is very very glossy. #16 is slightly more well-rounded, probably a little deeper, but it's mostly pretty shiny. They are both a well-rounded look, but sort of different in their emphasis. The best way to compare is to try them.A tin of #16 is only like $12 and will last you about 37 years.

Well i guess im good for about 128 years caue i purchased 4 cans of #16 2-3 months ago on close out.when i get a wild hair ill buy a can of NXT paste and try it on my silver t-bird,,the Nxt liquid made it reflect and pop so bad that you can not even look at it in the sun, without getting blinded,i need to figure out how to upload pics,it seems like a pain to upload on this forum,i guess thats why i have not posted any........

I became a paste wax convert after trying the NXT Paste Wax! Easy to apply and remove and the looks cannot be beat! One of my next projects is to try it with the PC.
With #26, I found the paste harder to use than the liquid but it gave great results.
Aurora 40 makes a good point about using liquid for door jambs and other less well-maintained areas. Definitely easier to contaminate a paste wax can by getting dirt particles in it.
If you are a big fan of paste wax, you should definitely try the NXT paste.
