Not sure if the pressure or the temperature causes this.
Still, it's very cool and unlike any other rubbing compound / polish.

Hand...I have a rotary polisher, but it makes quite a detailing mess.
    I think I should move to a DA Polisher....no ??

    syswizard,

Are you referring to our #M85 Professional Mirror Glaze Diamond Cut Compound? Although Scratch X 2.0 & #M85 Diamond Cut Compound both can take are scratches, they are quite different. M85 is more aggressive, but is also a bit older technology, and designed for use with a rotary machine only. Scratch X 2.0 utilizes our Super Micro Abrasive Technology, and can be applied by hand or D/A Polisher.

Are you working by hand or machine?

I was just wondering if ScratchX 2.0 is "rougher" than M-85....
still, it does a heckuva job.
I had scratches from a dirty car wash, and it took them right out.
Then again, I saw a new 911 Porsche Carrerra in black the other day and it put my car's finish to shame.

Depends on how the paint finish appears after scratchx. If it appears hazy then a polish will clean that up.
