For a product that retails at $8-9. It removes very light scratches, but those are even barely noticeable to begin with, but the medium and large scratches, which are still clearcoat, it only makes them less noticeable, but not much, they can still be seen even if you do it a few times.
I emptied the product into a different container and put body lotion, returned to Walmart and got my money back
I still have the product and may use it on fine scratches, but anything else, has to be sanded down, where you actually create a haze and then polished, and even this method won't remove it 100%, but it will look better than using scratch X
That's the thing with scratches, the only way to make it not noticeable, is to remove the clearcoat around it, basically one step closer to clearcoat failure, there is no way around it. Scratch X is "clear coat safe" and this is main reason why it doesn't work for medium scratches. It's like if you create a scratch on soil with your foot, the only way to make the area even is to remove the surrounding soil.
