more shine, what can i layer after ultimate liquid wax

I have just put on a layer of ultimate liquid wax after ultimate polish. The car looks awesome! Great stuff!

I am looking for more shine on my black car.

Would this sequence have any advantages
1. wash
2. clay
3. ultimate polish
4. black wax
5. ultimate liquid wax
6. ultimate quik detailer

I am new to Meguiars products, having switched over from another brand which advocates layering. Just feel that adding layers will increase the shine.

Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

Go with either ultimate polish or black wax. Black wax is a cleaner wax and will remove anything previously applied. Ultimate polish tends to darken the paint. Some like it and some don't. M205 is another option. It won't darken the paint as much.

Another option is to use ultimate quik wax as a final wipe after ultimate liquid wax to give you more shine.

Since Ultimate Polish has already been applied, I'm thinking of one of the following more options to Ultimate Quik Wax:

You can apply either M26 Hi-Tech Yellow Wax or Deep Crystal Carnauba (both are pure waxes), or Gold Class Carnauba Plus.

But as The Guz said, use Ultimate Quik Wax as a final wipe if you have one already, instead of immediately getting one of those waxes I just mentioned. If UQW gives you that additional depth/shine, then great.

thanks for the advice, both the M26 and Deep Crystal Carnauba are not available where I am, will give the UQW a try before going with the Gold Class Carnauba Plus.

On dark colours NXT2 gives more shine at the expense of depth. It sounds like that's the look you're going for.
