can Meguiars white clay be used on clear bras?

Hi all:

In general, I keep a good coat of gold class carnuba applied to the clear bras on my vehicles. However, occasionally a few spots of tree resin or bug splatter penetrates the wax and adheres to the clear bra. Usually I can remove the contaminants by gently "scrubbing" a bit with a microfiber towel and some gold class carnuba.

I was wondering if anyone has actually gently used the Meguiars white clay bar with generous amounts of QD spray to clean a clear bra.

Sure you can clay a clear bra. I have Xpel Paint Protection film over the entire front end of my 2015 4Runner. I have used Meguiars and Mother's clay on it. You just don't want to use anything on the film that is abrasive like compunds. On rare occasion with a really stubborn spot I have used Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner. Be gentle and use a clean chunk of clay and you should be good. I have clayed my film probably six times and haven't seen any issues. I have used Meguiars Ultimate Detailer, Mother's spray detailer and Optimum No Rinse for clay lube.
