This has been recommended on Autogeek quite a few times and even by Mike Phillips. I have personally never used it but it's worth a shot.

      Hey desgnr,

A couple suggestions for you since Meguiar's does not manufacturer a specific product for this task, you might contact the city where the incident occurred to first make them aware of what happened, and secondly to ask them if they have any recommendations to remove the paint. Yellow road paint is going to be some of the hardest paint to remove since it has to be so durable!

Another thought would be to source a local auto body supply or automotive paint supply store, and ask them if they have any recommendations on products to use which would be safe for an automotive exterior colored plastic.

If it were me, I would test different solvent style cleaners, tar & adhesive removers, in small inconspicuous areas. Especially when working with solvents, make sure to follow manufacturers safety recommendations, gloves, eye protection, etc.

      Hope this helps!
