  • How to clean stone guard area?

My 97 Miata's lower belt line has a textured matte surface and it's hard to clean, it looks like really bad orange peel but it came like that from the factory.

I'm about to hit the car up with some m205 to clean up some light oxidation but not really sure what to do in the lower area's that has the textured surface.

There's some dried wax, road grime..etc also the car has single stage paint.

Do people use a brush for this area? The dried wax has been there for a while so I need to use a more aggressive method but not sure.

Have you tried a microfiber pad on DA.
Maybe start with the M205 on a microfiber rag for a test spot

After washing, give the area a thorough claying before any other steps.

        Hello,

Can you post a picture of the area in questions? This will help us provide some suggestions, especially if this area is matte and not glossy. Thanks!
