  • Remove paint on plastic trim

My friend hit a pillar in his condo garage. Not too bad but they were some paint transfers (yellow) to his bumper (white) and plastic trim around the wheelwell (matte black).
I used Ultimate Compound to remove most of transferred paint on the bumper. What should I use to remove the yellow paint on the plastic trim?

    Anyone?
The car is a new Mazda CX3. There is a thich plastic trim around the wheelwell. Should I use Ultimate Compound to remove the yellow paint? Maybe Ultimate Protectant?

There are a host of graffiti removers at your local hardware store. I use these to remove road paint splatter. Acetone will also work but you should test on an inconspicuous area first. It's fine on painted surfaces in small amounts, but may discolor some plastics.
