  • Is this clear coat burn from scratchx?

I used scratchx for the first time to remove a small scratch on my new 2016 Honda HRV. I admit I did run fairly aggressively, but am still not entirely sure if this is clear coat burn. Was hoping some of you wise guys might be able to tell me. It still feels somewhat smooth to touch, and I haven't had paint transfer so maybe I didn't go all the way through? In any case, I've tried ultimate compound to see if it would buff out (though I used hardly any pressure for fear I might take CC or BC off) next in considering trying a glaze to maybe cover it up, or if you guys confirm it is CC burn, I'm not sure if I just want to hold off and get it redone professionally, or attempt some kind of cover up at least. Any and all help/suggestions for where to go from here is appreciated!! Links to pictures of before and after are below

It's hard to tell from your pics but it does look like the clear has been compromised.

Is that spot on the plastic bumper? I assume so, but hard to be exact from your pics.

Honda paint has a habit of being soft though. Did you use a machine or by hand? What pad or cloths did you use?
