I was removing a light scratch that i can 't feel wi th fingernail. as i rubbed it it turned from greyish black to white. is this normal? stop here or continuing rubbing until i can't see the scratch? i still can see the scratch except is white now.

I'm wondering if the scratch X has just filled in the scratch and what you're seeing is actually just scratch x? I've never had any issues using this product, but I've always done it with an application pad for compounding or a clean microfiber towl folded then balled up in my hand. What are you using to apply it? What color is the vehicle?

Pearl white. I used a microfiber balled up because i didnt have the pad at the time.
