Ulw on windows and other surfaces

I've read other posts of people using waxes or sealants on things like windows, exterior trim, and on the metal of rims. Since I have ulw would this do anything beneficial to any of these surfaces?

I'm sorry guys, I know that I am posting a lot of questions, but I'm getting on a roll here, and am just excited about buying and trying all these new products, and seeing how they all work out.

On Christmas Eve with all my family there, person after person was dropping me $20 a pop to do there headlights with the Meguiars Heavy duty, and Perfect Clarity Headlight Kits. One person had me do it, then another saw the results and wanted it done, until I made $100 on Christmas eve.

Instead of Botox party's, I gotta have some Megs Headlight party's! LOL!

Yes. In my case, I use GCQW all over the car, even inside a bit. Since I started using UWWA, I use it that way as well. Trim and glass and wheels benefit directly in the same ways as paint.

I use UPW on my windows all the time. I would think ULW would be just a good. Far better than RainX.

I use UQW on my windows, works great! Windshield gets whatever Glass Coating or Sealant I happen to favoring at that time.

I'd skip the ULW on glass. Especially the windshield. It can get into the little pits where glass is chipped out from sand/dirt/etc. Instead, get some ultimate quick wax spray and use it as a refresher for your ULW after washes. Then you can also use the quick wax for glass, plastic trim, etc. works great on glass. Sometimes I just use the quick wax instead of glass gleaner if it's not too dirty.

I use UQW on my windows, works great! Windshield gets whatever Glass Coating or Sealant I happen to favoring at that time.

paulcr39, is there any glass coatings that you highly recommend? BTW, I have lived Joliet/Shorewood my whole life, and currently in Aurora. My brother lives in Plainfield. Small world!

And your point is??? When those little pits are filled, the wipers, if you ever need to use them, will clean all the water off the glass, and not leave it in the pit, only to be streaked on the second, third, etc. swipe. THAT IS the point. The stuff works great. Maybe you should try it.

I try to avoid little white specks on my windshield (that will likely appear as black specks from a distance).

Wow!. You must have some awful big pits in your windshield. Would hate to see what your painted front end looks like.

Lots of interstate hiway driving. And one pass by a gravel truck going the opposite direction on a two lane does a number.

By all means, wax your windshield if you'd like. Just thought I'd share the reasons why I don't.
