  • Paint Hardness

Anyone know anything about the Ford F-150 trucks paint hardness level. I have been told it's soft and I have also been told it is very hard. I have been attempting some paint correction measures, trying to remove swirls and scratches put in by the previous owners use of automatic car washes. I have tried M105 on a white buff and shine cutting pad, M105 on a wool pad, and M105 with both the cutting and xtra cut da discs. I purchased a Meguiar's wool cutting pad and some m100. I used this on my rotary at about 1500 rpm nod it appears to be helping but I'm not sure if this is the route I should go. Maybe I am doing something wrong? I would think the M105 should take out the toughest of defects especially when paired with a wool pad.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

BTW. The truck is Dark Blue Pearl Metallic/ArizonaBeige
