  • Does clay dry out?

I guess everything dries out if left long enough, however I have never had clay dry out. It has either become dirty, or I dropped it, and in both cases would have tossed it out. I bought some new clay bars, and they are in clear, plastic containers, with a flip top. Almost like those bubble containers other items like flashlight batteries come in, but definitely not air tight. Probably will not use them for some time, as I only have the two cars which were clayed recently. Any idea how long they might last being unused in non airtight packaging? Thanks.

I left a piece of clay sitting outside on my door step for about 6 months. It wasn't dried out at all when I threw it out.

I'd put them into ziplock bags just in case.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

        - this is what I do and appears to last months this way.

I keep them in a ziplock with a couple of sprays of Last Touch on them. Never had an issue
