  • Carbon Fiber

On a 2015 Corvette Z06, would most, if not all, of the Carbon Fiber exterior features be clear coated and respond to compounding and polishing (M105 M205)?

Would it be likely those Carbon Fiber features would have been clear coated at a location different than the main body of the car and perhaps respond differently to compounding/polishing than the the main body of the car? In other words, assume nothing test each different feature before going whole hog with one technique?

Also CF will heat up quicker than a steel body panel when buffing. Similar to a plastic bumper

I hate plastic bumpers just for that reason. After an inspection of car, no major corrections planned. Dealer didn't have it long enough
