The last time I sealed my car was in late fall last year. I had 3 applications of UPW on the car, then the weather turned bad and it was the end of the washing & waxing season. Now, a few hundred snow miles and months later, my car still looks great (despite the couple of areas that have faded - darn SS paint). If the weather continues to hold in my area, I will wash the beast and see if there is any sheeting/beading left on the paint. To date, the only "wash" the car has gotten has been when it was down for a bad engine pulley and just sat there getting snowed on and having the snow melt and run off.
