      Hi Yauc,

Your work has resulted in what appears to be stellar results! Nice going!

On a side note, when you listed that you used our cutting pad, part number W-7006, which is maroon, on the dual action polisher with our M83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish, is that correct?

We also offer a polishing pad, part number W-8006 that is yellow.

The reason I ask is because as a rule, we don't recommend using the W-7006 cutting pad on the dual action polisher as it tends to be too aggressive for this type of mechanical action and may dull the finish down even though it will remove serious defects.

For most people, they are unable to recover from this dulling affect, thus the reason we don't recommend it.

That said, if you in fact used our cutting pad on the dual action polisher, it doesn't look like it caused any problems by the photos. Up close and in person, do you see any micro-marring?

          Hi Mike,

You dun know how much your comments meant to me
I literally spent close to 20 hrs doing this car, in fact i am still not satisfied with it. I could say i am 90% happy but i still have water spots on the car. And the fact i track with this vehicle doesn't help with having the perfect paint. (lotsa stone chips)

Back to your questions, i bought the porter cable with all its accessories from another site that delivers to singapore. Thanks for your remark on the pads...

Have another question for you, i am currently using Klasse sealant before pinnacle souveran. What is meguiars equivalent?
Or can i use final inspection on pinnacle?

I am currently looking at #38, 39 and 40 to replace my autogylm vinyl and rubber.

On the side, i might be in livermore, ca this july, any chance i could come learn more from you guys?

Hi SpoiledMan, thanks. I admire even more the beautiful work that have been posted in this website.
And almost everyone of you guys have a nice garage to work on your cars. For me, i have to carry all my stuff to the basement car park.

                Hi there,

I was wandering how u got most of the swirl marks out of your car? As i do not have any machine to help me, can this be achieved by hand. Pls advice

Good job on your paint work.

                Cheers

Meguiar's equivalent to Pinnacle Souveran is our M26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax. Side by side, I don't know anyone that could tell the difference between the results of these two waxes assuming they are both applied to an equally prepped surface. You can alway trust the Meguiar's name to mean superior technology and products that outperform the competition. (It also cost less than Pinnacle).

You can't go wrong with the above product you listed, M40 has been around for 30 or 40 years now and we're continually improving the formula when technology allows. M39 is known as the go to dedicated vinyl cleaner in this industry, and M38 is an awesome all-purpose dressing in gel form.

On the side, i might be in Livermore, ca this July, any chance i could come learn more from you guys?
Except for the 4th of July weekend, you can attend any of our other classes that month. We hope to see you here!

                        Hi Yauc,

Thks for the advice, i do agree using hand to polish is not really helping to get rid of the swirl and scratches.

If u could advice me on the polisher u bought and how much? How to clay the car, and the steps to achieve what u have done to your car. Also where u bought the products.

Maybe we can even meet up to exchange pointers? Really need advice and help.

                        Cheers

Yauc: that is a beutiful Honda you have there, I wish that some of my friends could see it and show them that you don't need aluminum wings and decals to make a Honda look great!
