Re: Does Supreme Shine Towels be used to dry the car without causing swirls?
Supreme Shine Microfiber Towels are not very good at drying water from the car, they just weren't designed to be water absorbent. They were really designed for removal of compound, polish and wax residue or for mist and wipe products like quick detailers and spray waxes. Our waffle weave Water Magnet Drying Towels, on the other hand, are very effective at drying water from the car and they are still microfiber. Remember, all microfiber is NOT created equal. Just as a pair of blue jeans and a fluffy terry cloth towel are both 100% cotton, it's pretty easy to tell that they are vastly different from one another in weave, coarseness of thread, etc. The same variances can and do happen with microfibers - in fact, even more so since microfiber is a man made, engineered fiber.
As for washing, all microfiber materials - towels, wash mitts, applicators, etc - can be washed together. We recommend a warm wash, cold rinse with any liquid laundry detergent. Drying should be with minimal heat or the "fluff dry" cycle. Never use any sort of fabric softener or dryer sheets with microfiber, and never mix them with cotton terry cloth towels as the cotton will lint off onto the microfiber, and you'll hate the result.Michael Stoops
