i received this e-mail from a client recently and cant seem to offer an appropriate solution to help him.
heres what he said...
I was cleaning my felt ceiling of my car on the weekend and some over spray (dots) from the meguirs carpet and upholstery cleaner landed on my aftermarket rear view mirror.
i didnt think much of it and thought i'd remove it 2 minutes later when it came time to scrub the stains off the ceiling.
to my surprise, it appears that the droplets of meguirs solution has burnt into the rear view mirror, and despite trying metho, propanol, hot water, glass cleaner, windex and rain-x it's still there!!
what can i do? is there a chemical in the meguirs cleaner that may burn mirrors? surely it can be removed...
thanks!
what do u think guys?
