I usually use Megs GCC liquid as my lsp. Well today I thought I'd try UW liquid on my daily driver to get ready for winter driving to work. The color of my Ram is blue streak pearl and it looks fantastic! I put on the second coat today after letting the first coat cure for 12 hours. My prep was UWW, clay, polish with 205 and my PC. I do not understand why I've read complaints on UW. The color just pops! Thank you Meguiars!

Truck looks good. Tires could use a little dressing. Some D4510 Plastic & Vinyl Coating would work well for you in those hard to reach areas like the front grille and the hood grilles.

Nice work! That truck looks good in the color with the UW. It is great stuff, I love when customers want to upgrade from my #26 basic carnauba to the UW; it really makes the colors pop.
And nice work gettin the pictures to work, the more you do it, the easier it will become.

Re: Try It You'll Like It!
Thanks for the encouragement guys! I was getting a little pooped ( I'm 63 ) and my main concern was the paint! I'll hit the tires and black trim on the next wash and just use the UQW to give the paint a little boost and won't be so tiring & time consuming. I did a two bucket wash, clay, polished with 205 and my old G100 Meguiar's DA before the UW treatment. I used the G100, 5.5 backing plate and black LC finishing pad for the large areas and by hand for the small areas for the UW application. Used microfibers for the UW removal. I drive 50 miles daily for work and keeping this truck looking good is my passion. It's my retirement present to myself. My last day working will be 12/19/14! Yahoo!!!

Re: Try It You'll Like It!
Now that you've gotten the "heavy lifting" done, the "maintenance" portion will be a breeze. Regular washings followed by a shot of UQW should keep your truck looking good for a long time. Good work on the truck and good luck with your upcoming retirement.Don

Very nice. I bet you have your calendar and marking it as the days go by. Any plans after retirement besides keeping the truck looking good?

Re: Try It You'll Like It!
Sure do! I have several remodel projects I'd like to do in the house that I never had time to do while I was working. I also enjoy fishing, and playing golf. I also want to learn how to correctly wet sand and conquer using my old Dewalt rotary. I burned an edge with it years ago, put it back in the box and have been using the G100 ever since!
