Meguiar's Supreme Shine MF Towels X4014 vs X4020

    Meguiar's Supreme Shine MF Towels X4014 vs X4020

    Does anybody know the difference between these two Meguiar's microfiber towels?

    Amazon has a 14 pack of the X4014 for $28 and Walmart has a 20 pack of X4020 for $19 online with free site-to-store shipping, but I can't find the dimensions (or any info really) about the X4020 towels.

    The X4014 dimensions are 24" by 16".

    I think the only difference is one is a 14 pack (X4014) and one is a 20 pack (X4020). Hence the last two digits of their product codes...

          I thought that at first too but the 3 pack's code is X2020.

          I'll probably do the Walmart 20 pack for $19 and cross my fingers that they're the same 24" by 16" size. Less than a dollar for Supreme Shine towels is a fantastic deal and I'll risk it.


          EDIT: I just ordered the Walmart 20 pack of Supreme Shine's for $19. I'll update with the dimensions when they arrive.

            There was a thread about this awhile ago and mike explained it all. They are all the same towels just the stock numbers were different for different vendors and packages.

              Same towels, just different part numbers for the quantity contained therein - ie; Davey nailed it!

              By the way, for the record, these part numbers basically exist because these retailers asked for this bulk type packaging. You won't necessarily find the same part numbers at other online distributors.

                  They used to have supreme shine towels at bass pro shop from the meguiars marine lineup. And I think they were slightly larger but I could b mistaken. If that's ur thing of wanting a different color. But I say get a 40 pack of towels cuz u will never have enuf. Especially when doing a full correction that day u go thru a bunch. And if u can get u at least 10 ultimate wipes. They are awesome!! Or at least what u can afford. Towels are a major part of detailing and quality is key! And for me meguiars is quality at a good price.

                    Having different color towels is handy if you want to have dedicated towels for certain products or tasks.

                      Totally agree. Just wish meguiars did that. It b nice to have a dedicated compound, another for polish, another for wax, and so on. Just makes it easier for cross contamination. Even tho I do see it being that big of a deal when they r washed. But my OCD does tend to kick in as in does the rest of us on other issues!
