There's really nothing wrong with that, but you will have to follow up with Ultimate Polish or similar on a softer foam pad to remove the haze prior to waxing. The forced rotation of the DAPS coupled with a pad as flat as the microfiber pad might feel a bit odd at first - some people might find it off putting while others won't mind at all. It is certainly an option, though, especially if you find you need more cut than you can get from the burgundy cutting pad and Ultimate Compound.
Thanks Mike. Much appreciated and yes I do plan on refining the paint after correcting defects I just need something to get in the tight areas I.e. around door handles, under Windows around doors etc.

The DAPS is a great tool for that exact purpose. It's always nice to have extra ammo in your arsenal when working on any project as rarely will a single tool perform best in every situation. While we make the DAPS and associated Power Packs easy for the novice to figure out, when it comes to more advanced users it's pretty crazy what you can accomplish with this little device without having to break the bank on a second tool.
