Bird poo vs DA Microfiber system

Hi all,

Yesterday some sick bird poo'ed on my Audi A5 2013 roof.
I was away for approx. 40 mininutes or so before I had a chance to remove it; startede to pressure wash it off, then valet pro citrus to remove residue, along with a good wash again.

I then startede to attack the etchings with the DA Microfiber kit, which was what i had left from a previous polish. I cut unti it was gone, and i swear to god it was! However (today 3 days later) i can clearly see where the spots was?

1. Why does it "come back"?

2. How to i remove it totally?

I had the same issue with my 2011 Fusion. I applied Ultimate Polish by hand, and it came back a few days later. I then took my DA Polisher and Ultimate Compound on a foam polishing pad. I followed that up with a coat or two of UP. I topped it with Ultimate Liquid Wax. A year or so later, and it is virtually unseen.
