How does the Finishing Wax in the MF System compare to ULW as far as durability goes? I assume ther is nothing wrong with topping the Finishing Wax with ULW?

Re: MF System Finishing Wax
I have not used the finishing wax but ULW is the longest lasting wax and is very durable. There is no issue topping the finishing wax with ULW, M21 or NXT.

Re: MF System Finishing Wax
The D301 Finishing Wax isn't really designed to be a super durable wax. It's primarily a carnauba system so durability is on par with similar such products. Remember, the whole DAMF System was developed for high volume reconditioning facilities: detailers who are using it for quick two step jobs will use D300 and D301 and call it a day, but if they're doing higher end work they'll do D300 on microfiber for heavy correction and then switch to foam and something like M205 to really refine the surface and produce maximum gloss and clarity. They then finish off with the wax or sealant of their choosing. For long lasting protection and to really maximize a finish that has been corrected to a high standard, Ultimate Wax is a great choice. Can you apply UW on top of D301 if you want to? Sure, if that's what you like, go for it.Michael Stoops
