  • Rain after UW

I applied ULW this later afternoon and after everything was done, I went on to wax my summer wheels inside the garage. It started to rain so I quickly moved the summer wheels to the side and parked my car inside. There was rain on my car so I wiped down the car with a MF.

I am sure my car is fine because I wax often (once every 1-2 months, with UQW in between). I am just curious what happened to the ULW since there was no cure time and I wiped down my car.

I think you'll be fine. It's no different to if you wiped it a few more times while you were removing the wax. There might be a slight difference, but barely enough to notice.

I would have sprayed each wet panel with UQD/M135 or UQW/D156 before wiping them down. That way it adds a bit of lubrication to the surface as you wipe, and would put back any (tiny amount of) protection you may have lost by wiping it down.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
