I have a black car with very soft paint. I have some moderate scratches/ swirls. I just purchased a G-100. In what order should I use these products after claying. DC #1, DC#2, M 80. Is there anything that I should add or remove? Will M 80 remove the swirls?

If you are working with the G-100, you can start with #80 first, then follow with DC2. You don't really need DC1. A couple passes of #80 at "5" should be able to remove light to moderate swirls. -

If your paint is truly soft, then yes the M80 will remove the swirls. Often times people confuse clearcoats as being soft because they scratch easy, when if fact they can be very hard and scratch easy, Barry coined the term, [b]scratch-sensitive[b] about 15 or so years ago to explain this problem.Originally posted by CL9 Nyte Ryder

Getting good results with the G100 is all about using the right products, (pad and product choice), and good technique.
As Travis mentioned, put the variable speed setting on the 5.0 setting and use about 4-5 lbs of pressure while working a small section, about 16" to 20" square or rectangle, whatever fits your panel best.

All you have to do it get them to try it. I let my dad try some of the pro. line window cleaner. He has yet to use windex since.Comment

Or just explain to him that those soaps remove wax protection and the right car soap doesn't.___________________________
