yellow pad is tainted/tinted

    yellow pad is tainted/tinted

    I used swirl x on my hood yesterday and now the W8207B 2.0 pad is has a greenish grey tint to it,,washing it did not make it come out,,I plan to keep these 2 pads just for swirl x,,Should i have any concerns?

      What color/kind of car do you have?
      There shouldn't be any color change to the pad unless you have SS paint, ie: Green paint? Green pad.

        I think he's referring to the greenish color of the SwirlX product itself..

        I agree - nothing to be worried about.

        What did you use to clean them? From memory, I was able to get that color out using a dedicated pad cleaning chemical.

          Thats what i was think as well. From the looks of it he has a white dodge pickup (then again that could have changed)

            still have the white truck,,,I did wash some green microfibers with the pad but nothing else turned,,I'll see if i can put up a picture later today
