Will this create a different look than just gold class alone on a brand new car or is it not feasible to do this?

Re: Can use ultimate liquid wax then apply gold class carnauba?
Yes, I agree that it can be worthwhile provided you let the first wax coat 'cure' for at least 12 hrs as suggested. I myself applied Ultimate wax followed immediately by Deep Crystal Carnauba. I didn't have any problems with the application but I did notice that the coating was 'very soft' in that a finger could leave fine marks on the surface. I have since convinced myself these marks are not scratches in the clear coat but rather due to the waxes I applied. For my next detail I will ensure I leave enough time to properly dry/cure. I think it is worth doing, but anything more than 2 layers is a waste.

I experimented with this on my black Saab. Two coats of Ultimate Paste Wax, allowed to cure a day. Then applied Gold Class to half of the hood. The carnuba side had a deeper, black appearance - almost liquid.

I did the same to my black Kia Optima and it really made it pop!
Best the car has looked - ever.
Thinking of actually going the other way round next time. Give it a coat of GC for the depth of colour and then top it with UW for protection.
Not sure if it will work that way to keep the depth of colour longer but no harm in trying.2012 Ebony Black Kia Optima Platinum

Always sealant before wax and UPW is a sealant. GC will affect the bonding properties of UPW. I would suggest UP then UPW, let cure and then GC.

Yes, he is referring to Ult. Polish, Ult. Wax, then Gold Class Wax.
The idea would be the same with liquid or paste versions. (The Ult. Paste Wax should dry then remove... the Ult. Liquid Wax should be removed fairly soon after applying)
And different steps do different things, so if you think the car might have gotten dirty sitting at the factory, during transport, sitting on the car lot, since you have been driving them around, etc... then you would probably want some kind of cleaning steps.
The clay would remove bonded on dirt. The Ult. Polish, or other paint cleaner would remove dirt from the pores/imperfections of the paint.
On a new car, with not much cleaning needed, people will sometimes use a cleaner/wax then wax. But there is no cleaner/wax that is a sealant from Meguiars, so if that is what you want to try, will have to stick with individual steps.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Can use ultimate liquid wax then apply gold class carnauba?
The reason people coat some other wax with Gold Class is the reason I just use Gold Class alone. I went from Ultimate Compound to Ultimate Polish, which yeilded that "Ultimate" prepped look, and then used GC by itself for that deep liquid black model finish. Keep in mind, the myths of how long waxes last are totally immaterial if you're regularly boosting your Gold Class waxed paint with Gold Class Quik Wax.Non-Garaged Daily Driver, DAMF System + M101, Carnauba Finish Enthusiast

Reckon I will invest in a bottle of GC Spray Wax to keep that 'pop' then.2012 Ebony Black Kia Optima Platinum

Yep, that's the correct order Fan. Liquid or paste should make no difference at all. My Ultimate wax is paste and my Gold Glass is liquid. Works just fine.
As for whether you need polish, depends on the condition of your finish. If it's perfect, you could skip that step. Then again, a good polishing can improve the looks of new cars, too.
