For Meguiar’s concentrated products, when instructions say to create a, for example, 1:10 solution, does it mean a dilution ratio of 1 part solute (e.g., APC) to 10 parts solvent (i.e., water), or does it mean a dilution factor of 1 part solute to 9 parts solvent (where the ‘10’ represents the final amount of solution including the solute)?
