I'm about to venture into something different? My cousin asked if i can detail the outside of his toy hauler... It looks to be in good shape ouside of some minor wheater stains. I want to know if using car products such as ultimate compound & ultimate polish & wax will do the trick? I also have other products such as M66,M26, M205, correction compound & finish wax might be a little to agreesive. Any information would be helpful i don't want to ruin any of the graphics on the side of the toy hauler.

Re: Toy Hauler exterior cleaning & waxing
What kind of surface is it?
Corrugated aluminum is the most difficult thing you can work on.
If its gel coat and vinyl then go with a cleaner wax.
One thing you don't want to do is create a hug monster by compounding it wrong.
M20, 50 or 66 are great products to use.
Go slow and let the wax clean the paint, you don't want to go fast, at all.
When doing the vinyl do it last so you don't get any color transfer. You can work them as you work the paint but only if you don't have color transfer. But doing them last and even by hand is the smarter way to go.
