  • int. detail time saving techniques

I've always felt like I had a few good ideas to perform a proper interior detail in a timely manner, but thought I would see if anyone else had some time saving tricks up there sleeve.

I am more interested in doing it well than saving time, but being able to do both is always a plus

    TIA

For carpets I recently started using Lake Country 4" Carpet pads.
Spray down megs carpet and upholstery cleaner, use LC carpet pad, **** up with wet/vac. I don't have an extractor so this is as close as I can get. Cleans mats in no times and doesn't kill your arm.
Megs has photos of an interior care kit with a similar pad plus an additional pad for the DA Power System but these never came out. Otherwise I would use the megs system.

I use 5-6" Cotton Terry Bonnet to clean the seats/interior. These work well for me because I can place my hand in them and do the job faster and easier than trying to hold onto a towel.
Always clean the air con vents, rear view mirror and front and back window insides.

A good vacuum makes life better.

I often use the blow gun on my air compressor for cleaning interiors. Great way to purge **** quickly. Also great for the areas the vacuum can't fit. Also good at removing stuff stuck to the carpet without scrubbing.
