Anyone try one of those new hoses that expand and contract based on water flow through them? Just saw one for sale the other night. The concept looks good, but I wonder if they work as advertised.
Thanks.

Watched an advert for xhose, thought the idea was great, no kinks expands and contracts after water t urned off, then googled it for reviews, sadly it made a mockery off clever advertising, lots only lasted 10 minutes before ends came apart, some ruptured, and the poor flow was a problem, also the outer w ould fray, idea is there just needs a. Quality manufature instead of junk
The idea isn't that new. The compact hoses have been used at marinas for a long time. Dock space is limited, so you have to minimize everything. I think the newest expanding one would work well in your kit of detailing stuff, especially if you are away from home, like at a hotel where they have a car show, and hoses are usually just that muchtoo short.

Agreed, low water flow. I put it on a foam gun, much lighter, easier to maneuver. Was thinking of putting on the high pressure washer. Hose is still new, not sure of life expectancy or leaking.
