Does anyone know the longevity and or other benefits compared to other sealants? Or have any other suggestions I have been looking @ several including griots one step and klaas

Re: #21
I used to use 21 all the time but know 66 is my goto.
I tell my customer the wax will last up to 8 car washes or more depending on storage of the car. Usually this means 3-6 months. This is common for all waxes/sealants but is a blanket statement. Again it depends on wash techniques, storage and where you live.

Re: #21
The other reason im asking is because klasse lasts about 6 to 8 months. Some say the griots lasts up to a year, and I intend to top with collinite #845 insulator wax especially in the winter as it stands up to ice, sleet and snow. And lasts up to 7 months. So I was just wondering about the #21 as I'd like ti stay with megs and I've never used it.

The #21 is a good sealant though and will outlast the other Megs sealants. The #21 is easier to remove than the #845. The #21 is designed for production detailing where you need easy on and easy off. That is not the case with #845! If you apply too much, or leave it too long to dry, it will be a major PITA to remove. But once you get the technique down it is great.

Also for car wax I'm a big fan of Ultimate Liquid Wax. Don't think it can get better than that. And I haven't tried NXT 2.0 or M21.

I just looked up opti-coat 2.0 online and I was surprised its only $70 on autogeek.com. It says it last the cars lifetime. Also, your paint has to be flawless when applying it or else if you have swirls, then those will remain underneath the opti-coat.
Seems like an interesting product. For now I'm sticking with Ultimate Liquid Wax but eventually I may look into something like opti-coat.

Have you decided what sealant you were going to try?
One interesting thing is some companies will say their sealant will last up to 12 months like Klasse. But we already know it depends on the weather, where you park, how often you wash the car etc. so it seems more of a marketing strategy to say it will last a certain time period. And Meguiars doesn't say how long any of their waxes/sealants last because they know better.
As was mentioned by somebody else in an earlier post being the Collinite 845 sealant; that is one I may eventually try so I have something to compare to UW.
