  • H2O Mop on Wheels

I have access to a H2O Mop which I will use to clean the carpet (salt stains) this weekend I saw in the commercial that it can be used for wheel cleaning.

The device produces steam in 270F. Is this too hot for clean-coated wheels? I have yellow stains on my winter wheels, hoping that the they can be removed by steam easily.

It'll be fine. I'd be more worried about damaging your carpet/glue. Why are you going so extreme? I'd just use some water/soap or an All purpose cleaner and a wet vac.
and the yellow stains are probably in the paint/Clear Coat and will require some polishing.

I thought steam is what the professionals use to clean carpets. I tried the H2O Mop and while the steam is hot, it does not seem hot like 230F. I don't have a wet vac so I just try to see what I can use around the house.

Detailers usually use an extractor for carpets and a steamer for the interior to remove greasy sticky stuff. In a vehicle you have wiring and the like so you want to be careful.
Just don't melt anything. You'll be fine.
