Which wax you recommend to be used after Black Wax for BMW jet black.
1- Gold Class
2- UW
3- NXT
4- Hi Tech Yellow Wax.
Thanks to all.
IMO Hi tech will probably look the best, but not last too long, Gold Class Next, NXT will look slightly better, but UW last longer. Try em all and then do a write up.
If you've done proper prep work before waxing the paint finish should look truly amazing, and the wax you ultimately select is then really a matter of personal preference. Full synthetics like NXT Tech Wax 2.0 and Ultimate Wax will last longer than carnauba waxes like Gold Class or M26, but from an appearance perspective it becomes very subjective, as the comments above illustrate. You may even find that after applying Black Wax you don't want to add anything else since Black Wax contains a high level of polishing oils that should do wonders for enhancing the Jet Black BMW paint in the first place. And, really, there's no real need to apply another wax over Black Wax.

I should have the Black wax today, my paln is to give it a try this weekend using Meg DA with a finishing polish (LC golden pad 5.5-very soft pad). However, this is a weather depending. I'll let you know the outcome. Thanks

It's going to look awesome because it is oh so rich in polishing oils. Enjoy the process!
I used to use Speed Glaze on the DA followed by NXT on my Nighthawk Black Acura. More recently I've just used Hi-Tech Yellow Wax with very good results. Would the new black wax last longer than the yellow? What are the differences? Thanks
I'm old school....cant break old habits. clay bar, cleaner, #7 then #26. PC and ol' school Waxcoa. This truck is a 06' purchased new by me and driven in Michigan winters, 115,000 miles...hate the yellow #26, NOT.
As promised I got the black wax and applied to my BMW jet black over the weekend. It looks very impressive, however, here is what I found:
1- applied by Meg's DA with LC golden, very soft, finishing pad, it was very easy to apply and the product spreads like a butter. But I rather prefer to see this product in a jar like other waxes??
2- Removing the product was very easy and for sure it's effortless.
3- The look very impressive and it increases the depth, gloss and warm looking.
Glad you like it.
As to your original question, Nothing. you don't have to top wax with wax. Actually your removing more wax from your car when you remove the second coat of wax. Wax has solvents in it and one coat is all you need. Plus it saves you money and time.
