I sent my car to a body/paint shop to fix some minor scratches and dent on Monday. The guy there told me that I can pick up my car on Wednesday afternoon. I am planning to wash and wax my car right after I pick it up. (And use clay bar too) Is it safe to the new paint? Thank you in advance.

Re: Shoul I wax my car right after a paint job?
Washing with Ultimate Wash & Wax shouldn't be a problem on fresh paint as you're leaving very little wax behind and, if it's the only wax on the car, it's not going to last long at all. Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere, our waterless spray wash, on the other hand, would not be recommended on fresh paint as it leaves behind much more durable polymer protection than the bucket wash UWW does. But definitely stay away from traditional liquid, paste or even spray waxes for 60 - 90 days unless the body shop tells you otherwise.Michael Stoops
