Ultimate wax or NXT 2.0 After Appling Ultimate Polish

Hi, i've been using the ultimate polish followed by NXT 2.0 with great finishing results. Would i get a better finish if i followed up the UP with ultimate wax instead. My colour of vehicle is titanium grey.Also does the ultimate wax last longer than NXT 2.0?

I think the Ult. Wax is a bit more durable.

Looks is kind of up to you though.... the Nxt might be a little shinier.

The ult wax seems to bring out the wettest look when you properly prepare the car. Clay polish wax.

Ultimate wax is the best wax I have ever used, looks wet and lasts, easy on, easy off.

It's always recommended to be in the shade, away from the sun when using any type of polish. So long as the surface is cool to the touch, you'll be fine.

The big thing IMHO is to never let the UP dry on the paint. Work small areas and wipe before the product drys. The only product that should be allowed to dry on the paint is wax.

Is there any thing to gain by applying UW over NXT 2.0, or vice versa? If they both are sealants, as opposed to waxes, is there some other product (a wax) that should be applied over either one of them?

No, those are pretty much the same.

Some folks would pick a carnuba wax like Gold Class or #26 on top, but that is just up to you.

IMHO, I like UW on dark colored cars and 2.0 on light colored cars. I also would suggest putting a second coat on 12 hrs after the first coat, which ever you use.

Just use one or the other. Nothing much to be gained by putting one over the other. Under a keen eye, Ultimate Wax will give crisper, deeper reflections and offer better protection. Applying NXT 2.0 over it may compromise the "package" of Ultimate Wax

Meguiar's states Ultimate Wax is their longest longevity wax of their product line and I really like how it looks on top of Ultimate Polish. I usually use two coats of Ultimate Wax applied 8 to 12 hours apart to insure adequate coverage, not necessarily to "layer" the wax. NXT is very nice, but I need the longevity.
